I thought I would document my journey moving from NixOs to Guix. I am not a programmer, I just like messing about and learning things. This is part of my journey.
Today on my 14inch AMD laptop I will be following the install from iso instructions found on here, and also Speeding up downloads: Faster or alternative download sources for installation (and pull)
From my experiences it takes forever otherwise. I’ll be using xfce and i3. I’m hoping I have learned enough to get fish working properly now.
