Hello, I’m having some difficulty getting C-h S
to work in Guile buffers. I have Geiser installed and working, and I have the Guile info manual installed, but opening a Guile file and hitting C-h S
over a symbol yields:
Cannot access Info node ‘(r5rs)Index’
Can anyone tell me what I should try from here?

Fixed it, if anyone’s curious:
- Googled for “r5rs.info.gz” to find Package: guile - MSYS2 Packages
- Downloaded the package, decompressed it, and moved “r5rs.info.gz” to /usr/share/info
- Installed the new info file with install-info
- C-h S now brings up the relevant documentation for Scheme symbols

I am having the same problem in debian 12. Is there a way to get that file from debian stable repos?
EDIT: it seems like there isn’t. I yielded and I manually added the r5rs.info.gz file to /usr/share/info dir, adn applied the @Turth 's instructions.
