Hi all!
Recently I discovered Prot’s excellent package Logos which I have been using ever since. It’s a focus minor mode that can narrow and navigate depending on an alist of regular expressions. It can hide the mode line, enable Olivetii etc. I actually use it in basically every mode now since I have the buffer name in the frame title and GNOME tells me all the info I need anyway.
But the best feature I have found is that it can replace Org-present, but since it works based on regular expressions it can work in any mode!
Set the desired regexps for each mode. Then when presenting simply use logos-narrow-dwim. Navigation is possible by logos-forward-page-dwim and logos-backward-page-dwim. Setting them to any key and then enabling repeat-mode allows for easy navigation during presentations. There is also logos-buffer-read-only, which can be useful.
I’m also using Prot’s other package, Spacious Padding, and Fontaine can also be used to easily set the fonts. I’ve tested the setup quite a bit and I’ve found it works really nicely. Try it out
