# Livestream idea: Setting up and managing a Discourse Forum

I know @daviwil has discontinued his friday livestreams for 2 weeks now, but in case he’s wondering about what to talk about, I would like to propose the topic of, **“setting up and managing a self-hosted discourse forum for a community”**

I like discourse, honestly, it made forums modern and responsive to use again. However, setting up and _self-hosting_ it is a mystery to me. If daviwil shared his insights and experiences for hosting the systemcrafters discourse forum in a livestream, it would make a nice content to listen to.
