# How can i solve the failed guix pull and reconfigures?

Now that i’ve gotten pass the install stage, my next big hurdle is random failed guix pulls and reconfigures. I thought my hardware was enough:

However, it seems to be hit and miss right now. how do i tackle this:

You can reduce the builds that require more RAM than available by using _[substitutes](https://guix.gnu.org/manual/1.5.0/en/html_node/Substitutes.html)_ (precompiled binaries).

Sometimes codeberg and others like sourcehut get DDOSed.

I also hit a bad commit, from time to time, and had to use a known good one to reconfigure.
